At Out&Back we want to make buying secondhand as easy for you as possible. That’s why we offer free shipping on all orders within the United States! And if by chance you don’t completely love your gear, we also offer free 30-day returns.


Our Return Policy

We understand that sometimes you just don't fall in love with every piece of gear you buy. That's why we offer a free 30 day return policy on all new or used items you purchase directly from Out&Back EXCEPT ski and snowboard hard-goods (skis, snowboards, poles, etc.). We want to give you time to get to know your gear. And if you ultimately decide it's not meant to be, rest assured you can return items for any reason (limited exceptions* apply) within 30 days.

As a note, returned gear must be returned in the same condition as it was received and sold and may not have sustained new damage or wear-and-tear.

If a return is issued it can only be done to the customers original form of payment or in the form of a gift card or store credit. 

When it comes to shipments outside the United States or ski and snowboard hard-goods, we don't accept returns. 

Starting a Return

Getting started with a return is easy. Email returns@outandbackoutdoor.com with the following information:

  1. Order number (found on your emailed receipt) 
  2. Reason for the return

Our customer service team will get in touch with you within 48 hours with a confirmation and next steps on your free return! 

Returning Items More Than 30 Days Post-Purchase 

We don't typically accept returns that are more than 30 days after original purchase date unless one of the following exceptions apply: 

  • The item sustained damage that is NOT due to normal wear and tear
  • The item has been recalled or otherwise deemed unsafe by the manufacturer
