The boys' REI Sahara Convertible pants offer a slim fit and stretch fabric for comfort on the trail. Zippers provide an easy transition from pants to shorts.

Zippers along the lower-leg side seams let kids peel off the lower legs without having to sit down or slide them over muddy footwear
Lightweight nylon fabric dries fast and offers UPF 45 sun protection
Cargo pockets secure with hook-and-loop closures; eyelets and mesh pocket bags provide drainage
Internal button at waist makes it easy to fine-tune the fit
Scuff guards on the inner pant legs protect against boot abrasion
