Content Specialist

- Specializes in multimedia content creation.

- Loves to tell a story and can develop compelling, action-driven content

- Uses and creates on social media regularly (EX: YouTube, FB, IG, TikTok, etc.)

- Highly proficient with best-in-class marketing and design software (EX: Adobe Suite) 

- Naturally creative with a strong sense for visual design and user experience

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment

- Has a passion for the outdoors/outdoor industry

- Needs to be able to wear multiple hats and can multitask

- Wants to make the world a better, more sustainable place

Job responsibilities:

- Creates, packages and distributes emotional, impactful and objective/conversion focused content 

- Produces and edits upon Out&Back’s content needs including, but not limited to video, still photography, social & email copy, blog posts, graphic design and in-store collateral

- Curates video and static imagery from scratch and/or authentic stock imagery

- Transforms branded content into multimedia assets 

- Designs custom brand and web graphics

- Collaborates with marketing and product teams to execute against Out&Back’s overarching content strategy

- Manages and socializes Out&Back’s content calendar

- Conducts regular content audits across Out&Back’s digital and in-person touchpoints

Organizes all assets using a central content depository and file management system 

- Proactively identifies gaps and opportunities in content development  

- Style guides Out&Back’s brand voice and tone across all content and communications

- Identifies clear objectives for all content and tracks and reports against KPI’s 

Job qualifications:

- Design education OR equivalent relevant work experience

- Experience in creating high-quality content and strong familiarity with video content creation, blog & ad copy development, social media content, iconography and web design

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs and eager to continue to learn and evolve in other ways to make content

- Ability to make relevant content across all platforms and has experience in all three of these areas: graphic design, video creation & editing and copywriting 

- Strong project management skills and has the ability to juggle multiple projects at once

- Experience with SEO a plus
